3D PRINTER BASICS
Learn the basic parts & functions of an FDM 3D printer and it’s operation, how to change materials and best practices. Also learn how to download files (or use your own) and prepare them to be 3D printed.
3D PRINTER ADVANCED
Learn the basic parts and functions of an SLA 3D printer and it’s operation, how to change materials and best practices. SLA or Stereolithography is a form of 3D printing technology used for creating models, prototypes, patterns, and production parts in a layer by layer fashion using photochemical processes and light. Become acquainted with our very own Formlabs 3D Printer.

LASER CUTTING BASICS
Do you like lasers? We sure Do! The Glowforge Pro is a laser printer that creates beautiful things at the push of a button. Discover the possibilities of subtractive manufacturing with monochromatic light while becoming acquainted with the Glowforge laser.

WATER JET BASICS
Learn the basic parts and functions of a desktop style water-jet cutter. Cutting and etching extremely hard materials like stone, granite, and hard metals is now possible with the Wazer water-jet cutter. We’ll show you how to prepare your files and send them to the cutter. We’ll also go over clean-up of the part and machine.
CNC ROUTER BASICS
Learn the ins and outs of CNC routing and how to create for subtractive manufacturing. Become familiar with Easel 3D while learning how to cut, carve, and pocket like a pro. The X-Carve is Inventables’ latest desktop 3D carving machine and is capable of creating precision parts from plastic, wood, metal and other materials.
3D MODELING BASICS
Learn best practices for preferences and settings, basic layout of the use interface and simple sketch comands to generate a simple part. Also learn how to manage files and useful keyboard shortcuts.
3D MODELING INTERMEDIATE
Learn the basics behind part modeling and sketching for use in digital fabrication. Gain an understanding of creating models for 3D printing while increasing confidence in the creation of accurately toleranced designs.

3D MODELING ADVANCED
Learn advanced features of part modeling with Fusion 360 including freeform creation of organic solid bodies and surfaces by leveraging the T-Splines technology. Also learn the basics of assemblies and constraints.
Familiarize yourself with the software interface while discovering the basics of digital manipulation and its use in a production environment. Photoshop is an image editing software developed and manufactured by Adobe Systems Inc. and is considered one of the leaders in photo editing software.
Learn the basics of the software interface while gaining an in-depth understanding of 2D layouts for Laser and CNC cutting applications. Adobe Illustrator is graphic-driven software used primarily for creating vector graphics. Developed alongside with Adobe Photoshop as a companion product, Adobe Illustrator is used for creating logos, graphics, cartoons, and fonts.
In modern technology, coding is everywhere. Whether you want to create an app, a game, or a robot, coding will make it happen. In our first coding class, we’ll teach you Python- a language that can be used for all kinds of projects.
Learn how to program an Arduino Uno and the basics of embedded controls with fun, hands-on experiments. This class is designed to give you the skills required to start prototyping using Arduino, an open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards can read inputs – light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message – and turn it into an output – activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online.
Learn advanced motor control techniques using a Raspberry Pi. In this course we will be making an RC car that you can drive from a phone with a built in camera! Learn more advanced coding while gaining valuable insight into electronics and more advanced motor controls.
